For the second straight week, Northside's defense pitched a shutout on the road.

On Friday, the Grizzlies went to Little Rock Central and came away with a 19-0 win, a week after winning 29-0 at Bryant.

The game was scoreless at the end of the first quarter before the Grizzlies (3-1, 2-0 7A-Central) got a pair of Chuy Parga field goals, including a 43-yarder on the final play of the opening half to give Northside a 6-0 advantage.

Then early in the second half, after stopping Central on its first series, Northside forged a 12-0 lead on a 21-yard touchdown run by Robert Wilkerson. The Grizzlies added another score in the fourth quarter.

Northside returns home next Friday to take on Little Rock Catholic.

It will be the Grizzlies' first game at Mayo-Thompson Stadium since their season opener against Greenwood, after their Week 3 home game against Pine Bluff was cancelled due to severe weather.
