The Northside Grizzlies will head to Blue Springs (Mo.) to take part in the Blue Springs Basketball Tournament starting today.

Northside will open up the eight-team tournament at 4 p.m. when the Grizzlies face Rockhurst. Should the Grizzlies win, they will play in the semifinals, set for 7 p.m. Friday against the winner of today's opening-round game between Blue Springs South and Ruskin.

A Northside loss today drops the Grizzlies into the consolation round, where they will play at 4 p.m. Friday.

The championship game is set for 6 p.m. Saturday.

Northside (2-3) is coming off a trip to Arlington, Texas, last week. The Grizzlies won their opening-round game at the Arlington Classic before dropping their next two.
