The Lady Bears’ season came to an end in Thursday’s opening round of the 7A State Tournament in Cabot.

Rogers scored a run in the second and another run in the fourth. Then, Rogers broke the game open with six combined runs in the fifth and sixth innings.

Jaleyia Perry, in her final game with the Lady Bears, had the only two hits for Northside (7-12) as she went 2-for-2. Also in her final game, Northside senior pitcher Sydney Green struck out four batters.
