BOYS SOCCER – The Grizzlies extended their current winning streak to five games and kept pace with Little Rock Catholic for the 7A-Central lead with a road win on Thursday.

Northside (13-2, 7-1) got its only goals of the game both courtesy of Jason Mendoza, who connected on those goals in the opening half.

The win by the Grizzlies also ended a four-game win streak Bryant had entering the match.

Northside returns home on Tuesday to face Little Rock Central; then next Friday, the Grizzlies head to Catholic, which was the last team to beat Northside prior to the Grizzlies’ current winning streak.
